Pacifica Synod
22nd Annual Assembly

Each spring the Pacifica Synod, as do all the synods of the ELCA, gathers in Assembly to uplift and celebrate ministries and address the issues facing the leaders, congregations and agencies within the synod. Issues are discussed, workshops are offered and elections are held. We worship, talk and learn together. The Assembly hears, discusses and votes on resolutions. Resolutions are a tool we use to talk to each other and to make decisions about how we will live out our call to serve God and the world. Assembly is how we govern ourselves, how we set direction for our Synod Council and synod staff, our congregations and our conferences. Assembly is how we walk together in service to God.
